Content Development Made Easy
We have built tons of Watson conversations over the years. One of the toughest parts is gathering together all of the content that we're going to use to inform our conversation. As we set out to create Builder, we wanted to create ways to make it easier to pull content into your experience.
The Content Auto-Discovery tool is a start down that path. With the tool you can plug in a website that where Frequently Asked Questions reside and the system can automatically parse those questions into useable dialogue and generate suggested training questions (beta).
Using the Tool
Using the tool is very simple:
- Locate a web-page that you or your brand own that contains FAQ content.
- Copy the URL.
- Paste the URL in the field
- Click Add URL to add another (you can currently submit up to 3)
- Hit continue to process
|IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible for the data that you put into Builder, please make sure that you have appropriate, legally approved, ownership of any content that you submit to the Builder Auto-Discovery process.|
We don't have a FAQ!
Say you don't have any FAQ content on your website, you could generate some FAQ content in a standard document format and then publish that to the web. A really quick and easy way to do this is to use a tool like Google Docs to create a simple FAQ and then use the "Publish to the Web" feature under the file menu. You can copy the resulting URL into the Discovery tool to grab and quickly ingest that content.
Utilizing Discovered Content
Once the content has been pulled into the Builder platform, it will be available within the left-hand pane on the Easy Edit tool. Here you can can access content, select, edit and add it to your conversation corpus.
Content is searchable and will be available unless you remove the URL from the Auto-Discovery page.
